Delicious Chicken Shawarma Recipe with Homemade Spice Mix

Ingredients:

10g garlic powder

12g onion powder

20g salt

2g black peppercorns

5g cardamom

4g fennel seeds

5g caraway seeds

2g coriander

8g turmeric

500g tahini

60g lemon juice

200g yogurt

50ml olive oil

3kg boneless chicken thighs

Instructions:

Heat the cardamom, fennel seeds, coriander, and caraway seeds in a pan until fragrant.In a spice blender, blend all the dry ingredients into a fine dust.

Mix the spice mix with tahini, lemon juice, yogurt, and olive oil to create the marinade.

Marinade the chicken thighs in the mixture overnight.

The next day, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
