Herb seasoned potato wedges
Seasoning for approximately 2 kg baby potatoes:
1 tsp chopped thyme
1 tsp chopped oregano
1 tsp chopped parsley
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 garlic clove, minced
A pinch of tsp sugar
salt, as needed
pepper, as needed
Ingredients :
2 1/2 lt frying oil
2 kg baby potatoes
Method:
Preheat the oil in a frying pot at 160 degrees Celsius. Wash and cut the potatoes in quarters. Place them in the heated oil and deep fry until they become crispy on the outside and soft inside.After cooking, place the potatoes in a colander in order to loose the extra oil from frying. Place the cooked potatoes in a bowl. Mix the seasoning ingredients, season the potatoes and stir gently until all the potatoes are seasoned.
